8 Due to Health Problems Snoring.

Snoring and excessive sleepiness is the two main symptoms of sleep apnea. Sleep apnea, which means stopping breathing during sleep, can have a direct impact on the health and quality of life.

8 health risks associated with sleep apnea:

1. High blood pressure.
Various studies have shown that sleep apnea is a major cause of hypertension. Increased blood pressure is directly related to the degree of severity of sleep apnea. The more severe degree of sleep apnea, the more weight also increased blood pressure.

2. Heart disease.
Untreated sleep apnea is a risk factor for heart disease. Sleep apnea increases the risk of irregular heartbeat, coronary heart disease, heart attack and congestive heart disease. Because it effects a person's heart forms. Patients with sleep apnea heart swell and thicken the walls on the one hand, and reduced pumping ability.

3. Stroke.
Sleep apnea increases a person's risk for stroke. Increased blood viscosity in patients with sleep apnea is a major cause of the increased risk of stroke.

4. Brain damage.
People with sleep apnea will experience permanent damage to the brain. Damage occurs in the brain that controls memory, emotion and blood pressure.

5. Depression.
Research shows that depression is common in patients with sleep apnea. Even mild sleep apnea have an increased risk of depression. Increased risk of depression will increase with increasing degrees of severity experienced by stopping breathing.

6. Diabetes.
Sleep apnea will not interfere with the body's metabolism to tolerate glucose and insulin resistance. Type 2 diabetes, is also one major cause of death, occurs when the body cannot use insulin effectively. Various studies have also shown that sleep apnea is likely to be the cause of diabetes.

7. Obesity.
Sleep apnea increases a person's weight. Metabolic disorders due to the fragmented sleep causes change in hormones that control appetite. The resulting drowsiness also cause the sufferer to be lazy exercise.

8. Mortality.
People with sleep apnea have a higher mortality risk than those who do not snore. Risk will increase with increasing degrees of severity of stopping breathing.
